"Uptown" in more ways than one.
Horizon Uptown is at the east end of Colfax, the intersection of Interstate 70 and the E-470 tollway. This area is a focal point of regional growth. It’s home to the redevelopment of the former Fitzsimons Army Medical Center, the expansion of Buckley Air Force Base and the new Children's Hospital. Denver International Airport is only a 10 to 15 minute drive away.
But Uptown is as much an attitude as it is a place. It’s full of energy and unbridled optimism about the future. And it’s about altitude. When you head east from downtown Denver toward Horizon Uptown, you’ll find that the land rises gradually. So gradually, you barely notice it – until you get here and look west and see the Front Range stretched out across the horizon, bigger than life. It’s one of those “wow” moments.
